Rules for the design of articles
The design of the article must meet the following requirements:
Fields. Top - 25 mm, bottom - 25 mm, left - 30 mm, right - 20 mm.
Volume of articles. Should not exceed 8 pages (at least 14 thousand printed characters). The structure of the article may include sections.
Authors, title. First, the surnames and initials of the authors are indicated, then the title of the report (should be typed in capital letters, bold). Then - the name of the institution, organization (text alignment in the center, line spacing 1.5 lines).
Annotation. The volume is 50-100 words. Typesetting: Times New Roman font 12 pt, italics, single line spacing. Paragraph 1 see.
Main text. Font Times New Roman, size 12 pt. Single line spacing, paragraph 1 cm.
Formulas. They are typed in the Microsoft Equation application, which is part of MS Word, in the same font and size as the text. Additional line spacing before the formula line is 6 pt. Formulas are numbered in Arabic numerals in brackets on the right side of the page.
The dimension of all physical quantities must comply with the International System of Units of Measurement (SI).
The accepted designations are deciphered directly in the text of the article.
Tables. They are located after the first mention of them in the text. Table headings are located strictly in the center. Tabular data - either centered or aligned to the left (Times New Roman font 12 pt, regular style).
Illustrations. They are located after the first mention of them in the text. Each illustration should have a caption (Times New Roman font 12 pt). Drawings are made in the built-in graphics editor MS Word. Graphs and diagrams are presented as drawings and are executed in a graphical editor compatible with MS Word. Photos and drawings must be in high contrast black and white.
Literature. Provided at the end of the article. The list of references should be compiled in the order in which references appear in the text, which are placed in square brackets, for example: [1, p. 12] or [1]. Information about the sources included in the list must be given in accordance with the requirements of GOST 7.1-03 with the obligatory citation of the names of the works. Font Times New Roman 10 pt, regular. The numbering of the list is automatic, without a paragraph.
The article must be edited and formatted in the Microsoft Word standard in accordance with GOST 2.105-95 and the design requirements in this collection.
Title, authors, abstract are presented in Russian and English.
The procedure for accepting articles
The article must be submitted on a machine-readable medium with a label (indicate the full name of the author (authors) or sent by e-mail. The electronic version of the article can be sent by e-mail: metech@bntu.by . Simultaneously with the electronic version, one copy is submitted articles on paper.
The article must be accompanied by a document stating:
• information about the author (authors) - last name, first name, patronymic;
• name of the organization;
• contact phone number (with operator code);
• e-mail;
• the direction to which the article belongs.
Articles drawn up in violation of the above rules are not accepted for consideration by the editors.
The editors do not accept articles published earlier in other scientific journals.
The author's fee for the publication of the article is not paid. Materials sent to the editors are not returned to the authors.
The article must be accompanied by an expert opinion on the possibility of publishing materials in the open press.
Review procedure
All scientific articles received by the editors of the collection are subject to mandatory review. The date of receipt of the article to the editorial office is fixed.
The editor-in-chief determines the compliance of the article with the profile of the collection, the requirements for registration and sends it for review to a member of the editorial board who has the closest scientific specialization to the topic of the article.
The date of submission of the article for review is fixed. The terms of review in each individual case are determined by the executive secretary of the editorial board, taking into account the creation of conditions for the most prompt publication of the article. The maximum review period cannot exceed three weeks. The reviewer signs the review, indicates the date.
The review reflects:
compliance of the content of the article with the topic stated in the title;
the relevance of the article;
assessment of writing style, arrangement of material, visibility of tables, diagrams, figures and formulas;
positive aspects and shortcomings of the article, what corrections and additions are recommended to be made by the author;
the article is recommended taking into account the correction of the shortcomings noted by the reviewer or is not recommended for publication in the collection.
The review is signed by the reviewer and submitted to the editors of the collection.
The author of the reviewed article is given the opportunity to read the review.
If the review contains recommendations for correcting and finalizing the article, the executive secretary of the editorial office sends the text of the review to the author with a proposal to take them into account when preparing a new version of the article or to refute them with reason (partially or completely). The article modified (revised) by the author is re-sent for review.
An article not recommended by the reviewer for publication is not accepted for re-consideration. The text of the negative review is sent to the author by e-mail.
The final decision on the advisability of publishing an article is made by the editorial board.
After the editorial board decides on the admission of the article for publication, the executive secretary of the editorial office informs the author about this and indicates the terms of publication. The text of the review is sent to the author by e-mail.
The original reviews are stored in the editorial office of the collection for one year.
