BNTU exhibition activities are aimed at promoting the created innovative technologies, materials and equipment to domestic and foreign markets, developing new business contacts. By participating in exhibitions, BNTU is focused on mutually beneficial economic cooperation and the consolidation of long-term scientific ties with various republican and foreign organizations and enterprises in the real sector of the economy.
In addition, the demonstration of scientific and technical developments created by the scientists of the university is carried out at the permanent exhibition of the BNTU "University-science-production". The exhibition demonstrates about 120 developments in the field of mechanical engineering, instrumentation, metallurgy, metalworking, materials science, laser and information technologies, construction and architecture, energy, mining, environmental protection, medicine, presented in the form of full-scale samples, models, posters, etc.
About 10-20 new exhibits are created annually and the exhibition exposition is updated.
Products, devices, parts and mechanisms, new materials and technologies exhibited at the exhibition are innovative developments that are unique and novel. Most of the developments have found application in practice and are used in various fields of industry and the national economy.
Demonstration of scientific and technical developments of student research laboratories and bureaus is carried out at a separate stand.
The exhibition is visited by foreign delegations, representatives of institutions of higher education, specialists from industrial enterprises, organizations and scientific institutions of the republic and foreign countries.
BNTU takes part in exhibition events within the framework of the collective exposition of the Ministry of Education, held in accordance with the annually approved Plan of National Exhibitions (Exposures) of the Republic of Belarus abroad, and also presents individual expositions at various republican and foreign exhibitions.
