Today, on September 21, in the Scientific and Technological Park of BNTU "Polytechnic" negotiations were held between the Belarusian National Technical University, represented by Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs Yuri Nikolaychik and the delegation of the Inner Mongolia University of Technology (IMUT) represented by Rector of Go Si.
The BNTU side was also represented by Dean of the Faculty of International Cooperation Pavel Shirvel, Dean of the Faculty of Civil Engineering Sergey Kovshar, a leading specialist of the Faculty of International Cooperation Sergey Borisevich, Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering Irina Shvets. The foreign delegation, in addition to the rector of the university, included Ma Jun, head of the Department of International Exchange and Cooperation, Liu Jingshong, Head of the Research Department, Chen Hongxia, Director of the Institute of Mechanical Engineering at TUVM, Shi Jinna, Deputy Director of the Institute of Civil Engineering at TUVM, Hu Yunbo, associate professor of the Institute of International Education at TUVM.
During the visit the Chinese delegation visited the exhibition exposition of the technopark, where they got acquainted with the developments of the leading scientists of BNTU in the field of medicine, instrument engineering, metal science.
Then the meeting continued at the negotiating table. The parties presented their educational institutions and outlined possible areas of cooperation:
Rector of Inner Mongolia University of Technology Guo Xi expressed interest in cooperation with the Belarusian National Technical University in the field of mechanical engineering.Representatives of our university, in turn, proposed to organize postgraduate training in the field of mechanical engineering and construction in a short time.This will make it possible to implement Belarusian-Chinese scientific developments more effectively in the future.
The meeting ended with the signing of a cooperation agreement and the exchange of memorable gifts.
