The first Belarusian-Uzbek Women's Business Forum is taking place in Minsk from September, 4 to 7.

Today, September 5, six breakout sessions were held, the participants of which discussed such issues as industry, medicine, education, tourism, etc. Section No. 5 on the topic “Implementation of partnership in the field of science and education” was held on the basis of the National Children's Technopark.

The section was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Belarus, the State Committee for Science and Technology of the Republic of Belarus, the State Committee for Standardization of the Republic of Belarus, youth parliamentarians, the Belarusian Union of Women and representatives of higher educational institutions – rectors of universities of Belarus and Uzbekistan. The Belarusian National Technical University was represented by Rector Sergei Kharytonchyk.

The Uzbek delegation together with the Belarusian side got acquainted with the activities of the National Children's Technopark and scientific projects of students, visited a thematic exhibition and educational laboratories. The participants of the section reviewed the experience of implementing partnerships in the field of science and education and prospects for cooperation.

As a result of the work of the section, Belarus and Uzbekistan signed a number of agreements on cooperation in the field of science and education.

In addition, Kharytonchyk Sergei held talks with Vice-Rector for Research and Innovation of Tashkent State University of Economics Abdurakhmanova Gulnora on the implementation of joint research projects, academic exchange, organization of scientific and practical conferences and implementation of joint educational programs.
