Department : Information systems and technologies

The Department of "Information Systems and Technologies"was established in 2008 on the basis of the Department of "Distance Education Technologies" at the International Institute of Distance Education to train engineers in information specialties.

The department provides training and graduates in the following specialties:

Bachelor's degree:

• 6-05-0612-01 "Software Engineering"
• 6-05-0611-01 "Information systems and technologies"
• 6-05-0713-04 "Automation of technological processes and production facilities"
• 1-40 01 01 "Information technology software"
• 1-40 05 01 " Information systems and technologies (by direction)”
• 1-53 01 02 " Automated information processing and display systems”

Master's degree program:

• 7-06-0713-04 "Automation", profilization "Methods of analysis and management in technical and economic systems".

1. On the results of the analysis of consumer satisfaction assessment in the 2025–2026 academic year.
2. Results of the work of the State Examination Commission (SEC), recommendations for admission to graduate programs, and the department's tasks in training highly qualified scientific personnel.

The department's branch is located on the basis of the Research and Production Center for Multifunctional Unmanned Systems of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus.

The company was created with the aim of concentrating scientific, design, technological potentials, material and financial resources to solve urgent problems of socio-economic development of the Republic of Belarus, increase its defense capability, and develop the export of high-tech products.

The Department cooperates with the Higher Education Institutions of the Republic of Uzbekistan. Cooperation agreements have been signed with relevant departments of the Samarkand State University of Architecture and Civil Engineering and Navoi State University. 

In September 2019, the first recruitment of citizens of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka to the SOP "BNTU-ESIGELEC (Rouen, France)" in the specialty 1-53 01 01 "Automation of technological processes and production"was carried out.

The department trains foreign citizens in the bachelor'sdegree program 6-05-0611-01 "Information systems and technologies" in a remote form in Russian.

The share of foreign students in the department is 15%.
