Yesterday, January 11th 2023, the Belarusian National Technical University held a meeting with representatives of the Embassy of the Republic of Uzbekistan in the Republic of Belarus.
At the moment, more than 700 students from Uzbekistan are studying at BNTU. The number of joint educational programs with foreign universities is increasing every year. Cooperation in education with the Republic of Uzbekistan is developing and becoming fruitful at each stage.
The leading technical university of Belarus was visited by: Attorney of the Republic of Uzbekistan in the Republic of Belarus Rahmatullah Nazarov, the first secretary of the Embassy Azimjon Abdullayev and first secretary- consul of the Embassy Khazhiakbar Vakhabov for meeting with Uzbek citizens studying at BNTU.
On the part of BNTU the meeting was attended by: Rector Sergey Kharitonchik, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs Yuri Nikolaychik, Dean of the Faculty of International Cooperation Pavel Shirvel, Deputy Dean of the Faculty of International Cooperation Nikolai Vishnyakov, Director of the Belarusian-Uzbek Interdisciplinary Institute of Applied Technical Qualifications Igor Gancherenok.


As already mentioned, the main purpose of the visit was to meet the Uzbekistan students who study at BNTU. However, before the meeting the guests visited the Center of Uzbek Culture to supplement the exhibition with new professional publications and informational printed materials about cultural and scientific figures of Uzbekistan.


Issues of prevention of offenses among Uzbek students were discussed later during the conversation with foreign students of BNTU.
