Branches of the Department - one of the organizational forms linking the university to the factory based on the effective use of their highly qualified personnel and material-technical capabilities.
Department branches are designed to: create conditions for the most effective use of the experience of highly qualified personnel and modern material production base to improve the training process of future specialists, integrate the educational process with science and industry; train engineering personnel and enhance their qualifications for enterprises of the Ministry of Industry of the Republic of Belarus in the field of mechanical engineering technology, automation, and CAD/CAM of technological processes; develop and implement long-term programs, including republican ones, aimed at introducing modern technologies in enterprises of the Ministry of Industry of the Republic of Belarus to ensure resource savings and improve product quality; organize a system for training specialists with academic degrees - Master's, Candidate of Sciences, and Doctor of Sciences; organize conferences, seminars, symposiums, exhibitions, as well as joint participation in such events.
The educational process at the branch is organized under the direct supervision of the Department of Mechanical Engineering Technology.
The main tasks of the department branches in training specialists include: teaching courses or their individual sections assigned to the branch, conducting practical classes on specific special courses or their sections in coordination with the department; organizing and conducting industrial and educational practices; preparing coursework and diploma projects on enterprise themes; organizing research work for students, graduate students, and applicants.
Branches provide necessary facilities for conducting classes, research work, coursework, and diploma projects.
