According to the results of the final stage of the Republican contest «TechnoElka» in the individual championship
1st place and a diploma of 1 degreeis awarded:
in the nomination «Design Christmas tree» Yakovenko Elizaveta Vyacheslavovna, a 4-year student of the BNTU “MGASK” branch, group 6193 of the specialty «Architecture» for the manufacture of the Christmas tree «Openwork tree». Head – teacher E.G. Karpovich.

Purpose and full description of the exhibit: the design tree is made of paper (tracing paper) and cardboard.
Consists of 2 parts: inner and outer shells. The outer shell is represented by tracing paper with openwork-cut openings attached to a cardboard frame. The whole composition is a five-sided pyramid. The inner shell is also made of tracing paper on a cardboard frame with randomly cut holes of a triangular and quadrangular shape. A garland with white bulbs and a length of 3.5 m is inserted into the inside of the tree. Two Christmas tree frames are mounted on a drum made of transparent plastic, which is attached to a step podium made of polystyrene. The Christmas tree is decorated with stars made of golden paper, an external garland of pearl-colored beads, which is intertwined with LED bulbs. The whole composition of the design Christmas tree ends with three stars of golden paper with the backlight of an LED lamp.
Technical characteristics (dimensions): 500 х 500 х 650 (mm).
in the nomination «Alternative Christmas tree» Bartsevich Anastasia Dmitrievna a 2-year student of the BNTU "MGASK" branch, group 8191 of the specialty «Architecture» for the manufacture of the Christmas tree «Azhur». Head – teacher M.A. Galerka.

Purpose and full description of the exhibit: Christmas alternative to a traditional Christmas tree.
It consists of 29 truncated icosahedrons, each of which consists of 12 regular pentagons and 20 regular hexagons, which has an icosahedral type of symmetry. At each vertex, 2 hexagons and a pentagon converge. Each of the pentagons is surrounded on all sides by hexagons. A truncated icosahedron is one of the most common semi-regular polyhedra. Each pentagon is cut by 20 triangles, and each hexagon is cut by 24 triangles, which in total is 240 pentagonal faces and 480 hexagonal ones on which a geometric pattern is applied. There are 20,880 triangular slots throughout the Christmas tree, from which the pattern of each element is formed. The combination of these elements is a multi-tiered, asymmetric, cone-shaped composition, which is associated with a winter tree. The model of the Christmas tree is made of thick white paper - whatman paper. Inside the tree is lit by a garland of golden light, which gives the exhibit even greater airiness and spectacularity.
Technical characteristics (dimensions): 290 х 270 х 390 (mm).
