On November 19, students of BNTU “MGASK” visited the international exhibition of art textiles by masters of Ukraine and Belarus, which was held as part of the Kolazvarot project. Each work, at the exhibition, was striking in its individuality, variety of texture, color and composition. The abundance of techniques and material used by the artists forced the children to examine each tapestry in detail.
Weaving is one of the oldest crafts. For a long time it was the most common homework in the traditional culture of the Slavs. It is all the more surprising to realize how organically synthesized folk art in modern times. The guys could not fail to impress the new vision of the well-known material, in the author's interpretation.
