- Dear Andrew Turner, this is your first visit to Belarus. What is your impression about Belarus and about the conference?

- It was very nice to come and really it was my first visit to Belarus. I like everything I saw and especially city. But to be honest, there were no so much time and I hope I will be able to see more tomorrow.  Today’s conference was great, well-organised and speakers were very good.

- And as I said, it is great pleasure for us to invite you to the conference. Actually such high-ranking official from World Foundry Organization visited Belarus and our university first time. Do you know something about our university?

- I think that those number of students who are in this university and who study technologies of foundry is very great and interesting, and we want WFO contribute to more close links between research universities and students and try to encourage in such way for our sphere to be more global.

- Yes, our Prime-Minister told a lot about plans of building new foundry companies, as you heard from his speech.                                                -I think that Belarus is strategically located on the edge of Europe, which makes it possible to use the advantages of new production facilities on maximum, and also it is a very attractive concept for the government - to support industry and develop new foundries. I think that your university will also be able to help the government by providing people with a working places in the foundries.

- Belarus is not so big country to compare with Russia or China, but from the other side it is not so small to compare with other European countries. Is it possible for World Foundry Organization to support Belarus and directly our participation in your activity?

- Yes, of course, I told today in the morning that we cooperate with countries which produce 50 million tons and with countries which produce only some hundreds or thousands tons. And we will be very happy to help find ways for cooperating with large associations and individual organizations. As well we are very interesting in broadening flow of informational cooperation. For example, in these countries technologies are being developed, and other countries or organizations can’t afford this. In such case we can work as a bridge between several countries, for example, USA and the Republic of Belarus or between China and the Republic of Belarus.

- It is great indeed! You can see that we really try to do everything that is possible for global foundry organization. And so I hope that our cooperation will go on and develop in the interest of all parts!

- Oh, I’m sure, that it will be like that! It is great honor for WFO to come to Belarus and to be invited to this great conference.

- I hope that your visit will be very useful for both parts for future development of scientific researches and to find more places in our country for future development of production. We hope that it is your first but not the last visit to Belarus!
