On December 26, 2018 a trip for students was presented as a gift for the New year. It was a trip to the Belarusian state Museum of architecture and life, organized by the Primary trade Union of students of BNTU.

Students took part in a ritual event "Christmas carols". It was an entertaining and dynamic program surrounded by the amazing beauty of the winter landscapes of the open-air Museum. The event introduced the children to the main winter Belarusian traditions. It gave the opportunity for students to learn about the symbol of the festival, to participate in the ceremony, lead the goat and the bear sing Christmas songs, try the traditional dish – Christmas pudding.

In addition, the students visited the exposition sector of the Museum "Central Belarus", which is represented as a village with a typical layout for this type of settlement: an area with buildings of a social and cultural center and a street with two-way buildings of estates.

Girls in engineering: Karina Lyutsko

Modern reality proves that it is precisely women’s attentiveness, interdisciplinary thinking, and ability to see non‑obvious connections — among other things — that drive modern science forward.
