In honor of the Day of Remembrance of Internationalist Warriors a meeting of first-year students with a veteran internationalist, teacher of the branch Andrey Gennadievich Syomikov was held at the branch of BNTU "MGASK".
32 years have passed since the withdrawal of Soviet troops from Afghanistan... For some, this is a whole life, but for some, years that do not have an exact time frame. The war, which lasted 9 years, 1 month and 18 days, ended on February 15, 1989 for Soviet soldiers. She managed to take the lives of 771 Belarusians.
Andrei Gennadievich told the children about his difficult service, about his fellow soldiers, about his comrades-in-arms who had not returned from the battlefield.
In the modern world, there is an ongoing ideological war for the minds and hearts of the younger generation, such a meeting is of great importance for the patriotic education of youth, so that our youth know and remember: for a real man, duty and honor are above all.
