On March 27, 2026, the Department of Economics, Organization of Construction and Real Estate Management held another Youth Competition "StroyProekt-2026". This year it brought together a record number of participants: 15 teams - students of the Belarusian National University (BNTU), the Belarusian State Technological University (BSTU), as well as students of the engineering class of Gymnasium # 192 in Minsk. Each of the projects reflected the main trends of our time: environmental friendliness, digitalization and energy efficiency. The competent jury included: Ksenia Kuznetsova, Deputy Dean for ideological and educational work of the Faculty of Civil Engineering at BNTU; Alexander Markov, economist of the Energoproekt branch of Zapadelektrosetstroy OJSC; Larisa Remenchik, representative of the organizing committee of the competition "Leaders in Construction"; Victoria Shirinskaya, Deputy Director of the design and construction organization; Maria Gorenkova, a fourth-year student of the Mechanical Engineering Faculty of BNTU and a finalist of the "100 Ideas for Belarus" competition.
Overall winners of the competition:
1. First place – project "Circle of Life: From a Fallen Tree to a New Life" (BNTU Faculty of Economics);
2. Second place – project "National Cryptofarm: Energy Balance and Digital Independence" (BNTU Faculty of Economics);
3. Third place – projects "Web application for automating student dormitory check-in" and "Web platform for flatsharing FLATSHARE CONNECT" (BSTU).
The following projects won in special nominations:
Best project presentation – project “Construction Economics: From Demolition to New Life” (SB BNTU);
Relevance of the task being solved during the project implementation – project “Web application for commercial real estate rental RENTR&rdquo (BSTU);
Best environmental initiative and environmental project – “Urban jungle” (SB BNTU);
Novelty of ideas, approaches, and technologies used – project “Green Power Gym” (SB BNTU);
Project effectiveness and best debut project – “SmartSchool: School of a Sustainable Future” (students of the engineering class of Gymnasium #192, Minsk);
The best project according to the participants is "The Circle of Life: From a Fallen Tree to a New Life" (SB BNTU);
Investment attractiveness is the project "National Cryptofarm: Energy Balance and Digital Independence" (SB BNTU);
The best use of digital technologies is the project "BIM 2.0: From Model to Monitoring" (SB BNTU);
Socially significant project is the project "Growth Point: Installation of Small Architectural Forms on the Roof of a Residential Building" (SB BNTU).
Competition "StroyProekt-2026" Once again, the competition confirmed that Belarusian youth are not only ready to address the construction industry's pressing challenges but also capable of proposing bold, breakthrough solutions. The organizers and jury members noted not only the economic soundness of many projects but also their social significance.
