Since 1969, Oleg Stepanovich Sitnikov became the first head of the department "Economics and organization of auto-tractor production and road transport", born in 1914. After graduating from the Gorky Industrial Institute in 1939, he worked at the Gorky Automobile Plant. Since 1950, for four years - Deputy Director of the Minsk Automobile Plant. In 1995, the department established the scientific school "Research in the Development of Logistics and Leasing in the Republic of Belarus." In 2007, for the first time in the republic, the recruitment of applicants for the specialty "Evaluation activities in road transport" began .
