This year, the Department of Economics and Logistics of the Automobile and Tractor Faculty of the Belarusian National Technical University is opening admission for the first time to a new, shortened correspondence program in the specialty 1-27-02-01-01 "Transport Logistics (Road Transport)".
Applicants are eligible to graduate from specialized secondary educational institutions (colleges) who have received degrees in the following specialties:
2-26-02-32 "Operational Activities in Logistics";
2-27-01-01 "Economics and Organization of Production";
2-44-01-01 "Organization of Transportation and Management in Road and Urban Transport";
2-44-01-03 "Organization of Transportation and Management in Rail Transport".
During their studies, future transport logistics specialists will master the following in-demand specialized courses:
"Information Technology in Logistics";
"Applied Information Systems in Logistics";
"International Logistics";
"Inventory and Warehousing Logistics";
"Supply Chain Management";
"Management";
"Marketing in Transport";
"Investment Planning";
"Economic Analysis of Enterprise Operations";
"Technical Operation of Motor Vehicles" and others.
After just four years of study, applicants will receive a higher education diploma with the qualification of "Engineer-Economist, Logistics Specialist."
For reference: the traditional correspondence course for this specialty is five years.
Admission to the shortened program is planned to be funded by the republican budget (15 places) and on a fee-paying basis (5 places). Admission does not require centralized testing; only successful completion of two entrance exams in the disciplines "Organizational Economics" and "Fundamentals of Management."
