Belarusian Science: Keeping Up with the Times

On the eve of the Day of Belarusian Science, within the framework of the information and educational project “School of the Active Citizen”, on January 28, 2021, an event on the topic “Belarusian science: keeping up with the times” was held at the branch of BNTU “MGASK”. During the event, students learned about the history of the development of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Belarus, about the achievements of Belarusian scientists in various fields of fundamental and applied science, recognized by the world community, got acquainted with the innovative developments of young researchers.

We discussed how scientific discoveries influence our life, what knowledge and skills are needed to become a scientist, to make scientific discoveries. We came to the conclusion that the Republic of Belarus pays enough attention to the scientific potential and the introduction of scientific developments in various fields of activity: agriculture, economy, industrial production, education, construction and architecture, to ensure the prosperity of our country.
