November 28, 2019, employees of the official representative office of Trimble (USA) conducted an open lecture for students of the Department “Bridges and Tunnels” of the FTC.

Students were presented with material about the development history of Trimble (USA) and its current developments. Talked about the means and capabilities of specialized software for cameral and field processing of laser scanning results. A laser scanner and a scanning total station, the company's advanced developments in the field of construction, were presented for review. Students were familiarized with the basic principles of work and features of modern laser scanning technology, intended for use in the maintenance of construction and maintenance of transport facilities.
