December 5 was the Republican scientific-practical conference "The Soviet stage in the history of Belarus", organized by the Department of History of Belarusian Statehood of the Faculty of Humanities and Management Theory.
Studying the Soviet stage in Belarus today is important for understanding the current situation of the Republic of Belarus and the possibility of developing new strategies for the development of our sovereign state in a rapidly changing world. For this purpose, the Department of the History of Belarusian Statehood organized a scientific and theoretical conference. It was attended by experts from leading universities and research institutes of the country, the championship among which belonged to BNTU. 29 participants presented reports with a wide range of problems and research topics. Each presentation was accompanied by a scientific discussion. Among the participants, their reports were voiced by the corresponding member of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, the condemned scientist of the Republic of Belarus, doctor of historical sciences, the head of the department of History of Belarusian statehood Vladimir Bobkov, the corresponding member of the NAS of Belarus, doctor of historical sciences, the head of the department of constitutional law of BSU, Grigory Vasilevich, doctor of historical sciences , Professor Vladimir Bozhanov, Doctor of Historical Sciences, Professor of the Department of Social and Humanitarian Disciplines, Belarusian State Pedagogical University named after Maxim Tank Emmanuel Ioffe, Doctor of Historically in Science, Professor Lyudmila Semenova, Doctor of Historical Sciences, Professor of the Department of International Relations of BSU Vladimir Snapkovsky, Doctor of Historical Sciences, Professor of the Department of the Belarusian State Technical University Mikhail Strelets and other competent speakers. The conference was opened with a welcoming speech by the First Vice-Rector of BNTU Georgy Vershina.
Following the conference, a collection of scientific articles was published.
