In the Year of Small Homeland for students of the BNTU MGASK branch 01.12.2019 a tour was organized along the route:
Minsk city - Polotsk city - Minsk city.
As part of the tour, students visited the female Spaso-Efrosinievsky monastery, founded in 1125. They examined Sophia Cathedral, which became the first stone building on Belarusian lands and the first Orthodox churches in Russia. They visited the memorial sites of the ancient city of the country: a monument to the geographical center of Europe, a monument to Simeon Polotsky, a monument to the heroes of the Patriotic War of 1812 and the world's largest monument to Francis Skorina.
