September 28 a grandiose sports event “Battle of BNTU faculties – 2019” was held at the stadium of BNTU.
For 4 years this sports festival has been attracting an audience attention with the intensity of passions and emotions that flare up on the playgrounds in the struggle for the main title.
For spectators and guests of this festival there were organized a recreation area with bean bags, with a creative zone with easels, and on the stage itself the grand opening of the “Battle of BNTU faculties” was held, with the best regards the 1st Vice-Rector Vershina Georgy Aleksandrovich and Vice-Rector for academic work Gusev Oleg Konstantinovich performed with a speech.
After the opening part, there were contests and the winners were awarded.
The best football player of Belarus 2008 and 2013, the best scorer in the history of FC BATE Vitaly Rodionov also attended the event. An autograph session took place right after the opening where everyone had opportunity to talk with the Belarusian football star.
Our faculty shows decent sports results from year to year and can boast the largest and most ardent support group. This year did not an exception. In all discipline sportsmen of our faculty share up to a quarter finals, and in mini-football they fought for the 3rd place with students from the ATF.
FTC students were awarded with “Fair Play” diplomas as the most discipline faculty at the festival.
