First of all, the applicant submits a package of documents for issuing an invitation by sending it to the mailbox of the international cooperation department study@bntu.by. After receiving an invitation a future student must obtain a student visa at the embassy. You can learn more about types of visa, necessary documents for a student visa and other issues by the link. A copy of your passport and secondary school certificate is enough to get an invitation, but there are some countries (Africa, Asia, Pakistan), where in order to receive an invitation from BNTU it will be necessary to take an account statement with 6000$ balance. This is student’s insurance, so that this sum would be enough for a year in case of unexpected events.

Applications are considered one by one and, if the package of documents is correct, they are submitted to the The Department of Citizenship and Migration to issue an invitation. The process takes from 10 to 14 days.
For visa countries BNTU sends an official invitation to the consular office of the country from which the applicant arrived. For visa-free countries the university sends letter.
After the applicant has arrived and registered he passes an interview in Russian (in case student does not enter the preparatory department). If the student is willing to study in English then the interview will be held in it accordingly. If the student plans to begin Master's course he is to take interview in English to prove his knowledge of terminology.

At the preparatory department educational programs have been created according to the admission requirements in other educational institutions of Belarus.
For foreign citizens the admission process is organized as follows: you receive an invitation, a student visa, and then pass an interview in Russian or English. Specialists of the international department examine your documents and assign you to the group where you will meet your future groupmates and lecturers and begin your studies at BNTU - the best technical university in Belarus.
For admission to some faculties an applicant has to take additional entrance exams (for example, exams in academic drawing and composition for architectural faculty), so specify which tests will be taken by email study@bntu.by or at study.bntu.by.
This year we admit students to the 6 specialties in English, read about them in our review article. With all our knowledge we will prepare high-qualified specialists not only for Master’s and PhD programs, but also for Bachelor’s. Teaching will typically consist of lectures and seminars and undertake independent or group project work. Assessment is likely to be via a combination of written exams, presentations and research projects.

Information Systems and Technologies course which is oriented on training highly qualified programmers in the field of engineering, software production and operation on the basis of modern information technologies.
Automation of Technological Processes and Production course which provides an in-depth study of electronics, microprocessor technology, local and global networks, databases, system and application software.
Industrial and Civil Engineering course includes an understanding of the design, engineering, business and technical principles and practices used in the construction industry.
At Machine Building Technology course students get thorough knowledge in mechanical engineering technology, automation of technological process, computer-aided design of technological processes of material treatment and assembly, and automation of design of treatment software for CNC machines.
At Vehicle Maintenance and Repair course (Technical Maintenance of Automobiles) graduates obtain the qualification of mechanical engineer and a driving license.
At Biotechnical and Medical Apparatus and Systems course training is focused on design of medical instruments, devices, and systems intended to replace lost organs, specialized therapeutic and rehabilitation training apparatus for people with special needs, and relevant manufacturing technologies.
If you want to get a chance to continue your studies in other country, then we recommend you 2 + 2 programs. 2 + 2 is a deferred admission process for current students that allows to study at BNTU for two years, and for two years, for example, in California and then get a Bachelor's or Master's degree.
