On the 12th of March 2018 there were opening of the exhibition “Art in Progress” in Russian House of Science and Culture in Berlin. This exhibition united modern artists from West and East Europe. The project was devoted German artist Heinz Kasper (1942-2017) who was creator of the international art-group “MEM”. This art-group conducted modern exhibitions in different European cities on the base of common creative aims and interests.
The works of artists from 8 countries among which were Germany, Hungary, France, Russia – video-art, traditional paintings, op-art on the plane and in space – were presented in all 6 exhibition halls of the Russian House, which is located in the center of Berlin on Friedrich Strasse 176-179. Pavel Vainitsky was invited to participate with a series of conceptual sculptural works combining glass and sound, the sound component of which was created by the famous Belarusian sound designer Eugene Rogozin.
The opening ceremony was attended by representatives of the Embassy of the Republic of Belarus in the Federal Republic of Germany, the Embassy of the Russian Federation and other official and interested persons.
