Shaparenko A.A., a senior lecturer of the "Information Technologies for Management" Department of the International Institute of Distance Education (IIDE), took part in the international program «New pedagogies in the 21st century for Higher Education teachers» held at the “A.Ofri (MASHAV)” International Educational Training Center in Jerusalem. MASHAV is Israel’s Agency for International Development Cooperation supported by Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
22 lecturers from 19 countries participated in the program.
Israel’s higher educational establishments’ educators and MASHAV’s curriculum designers stress the necessity to implement essential changes in the educational process in modern higher education establishments. “It makes no sense to teach 21st century students applying only the methods, tools and techniques of the 20th century”. All the participants of the international program were certified at the end of the course.
