The Day X has come: on the 27th July we announced lists of students admitted to the fee-free education form. The only thing for them left is to get an invitation letter and come to the university. The highlights of the enrollment campaign just down below:

This year is an outstanding in terms of number of applicants. 5778 applicants submitted their documents in contrast to the previous year – 3921. As you see, we almost doubled our results. 2870 applicants applied for the full time education form and 1051 for part time. And consider the fact that the number of state-funded places stayed the same and number of students applied reduced

And here is some background for this:

— Ever-increasing interest in engineering education all over the world and our country in particular

— And what is the most important - our step by step work to interest students in engineering and BNTU and motivate them to study here.

Due to our work on improving results in July BNTU’s position on Webometrics Ranking of World Universities gained 183 points compared to January of the current year occupying now 2661 position in the world.

Discussion platform 'Dean's Office in Touch: Student Rights and Responsibilities'
On September 2 and 3, FITR held dialogue sessions for freshmen on student rights and responsibilities. The participants discussed BNTU’s internal regulations, benefits, academic leave, retakes and disciplinary liability. Special guest Elena Bulko, a juvenile affairs inspector, also joined the meetings.
