As part of the celebration of the 75th anniversary of the liberation of Belarus from the Nazi invaders in 2019, the trade union committee of the Primary Trade Union Organization of BNTU workers, together with the Council of War and Labor Veterans of the BNTU, prepared and published the “Book of Memory” with stories and memoirs of BPI-BGPA-BNTU veterans about difficult war years, the exploits of front-line soldiers, partisans and underground fighters on the battlefields, selfless work in the rear in the name of Victory.
Among the initiators of the creation of the collection "Memory of Generations of the BPI-BGPA-BNTU" and its authors are a veteran of the Great Patriotic War, a front-line soldier, a former university teacher Nikolai Ivanovich Skatulin, a well-known Belarusian historian, associate professor of the "History of the Belarusian statehood" department of the BNTU Boris Dmitrievich Dolgotovich and a military veteran -technical faculty at the BNTU, for many years he headed the trade union organization of the faculty workers, and the commission of the trade union committee of the BNTU for work with veterans, in the recent past, the senior teacher of the WTF Viktor Alexandrovich Valezhanin.
