On November 15, a sports contest was held among the primary trade union organizations of higher education institutions in Minsk.
A team of BNTU workers consisting of 19 athletes led by Irina Vakhtina, chairman of the trade union committee, competed in such sports as volleyball, darts, table tennis, swimming and kettlebell lifting.

Today, on November 11, the Trade Union of Education and Science Workers is holding the III Republican forum "360° Trade Union".
Irina Vakhtina, Chairman of the NGO, and Igor Kulinich, Head of the laboratory of the Department of Machines and Technology of Metalworking by Pressure, and a member of the Youth Council of the Trade Union of Education and Science, are taking part in the forum on behalf of BNTU workers.

On October 25, representatives of the Belarusian Trade Union of Education and Science Workers, as part of the delegation of the Federation of Trade Unions of Belarus, joined the action "Give the forest a new life!"
Leonty Medvedev, Chairman of the Professional Bureau of the Faculty of Civil Engineering, took part in the planting of forests in the Mogilev region on behalf of BNTU workers.

The Week of Parental Love has started in Belarus
From October 13 to October 26, the Week of Parental Love is celebrated in our country. It is timed to coincide with two significant dates.: Mother's Day (October 14) and Father's Day (October 21).
Today, on Mother's Day, a festive concert "Family warmed by Love" was held at the Belarusian National Technical University. The creative teams of the university presented a soulful musical program.
The Trade Union Committee of the BNTU workers presented postcards and sweets to the concert guests. Irina Vakhtina, Chairman of the NGO, came from the stage with congratulations and warm words and wishes for all the mothers present in the hall.

Today, the trade union of education and science workers, headed by Chairman Tatiana Yakubovich, joined the voluntary republican action "Forest! Dubro! Paradak!" in the Dzerzhinsky district.
Igor Kulinich, Head of the laboratory of the Department of Machines and Technology of Metalworking by Pressure, member of the Youth Council of the Trade Union of Education and Science, and Svetlana Kriusha, Chairman of the AHS Trade Union Bureau, took part in the action on behalf of BNTU workers.

On September 16, Minsk hosted a bike ride "Roads of Memory" dedicated to National Unity Day.
The BNTU team was represented at the bike ride by Rector Sergey Kharitonchik, Vice-rector for Ideological and Educational Work Timur Matyushinets, Dean of the Faculty of Sports and Technology Yaroslav Potachits, university employees Svetlana Kriusha, Dmitry Skorkin, Diana Lupenko, Olga Shinkevich, Yuri Feoktistov.
All participants were awarded commemorative medals.

On August 29, 2025, a conference of the primary trade union organization of workers of the Belarusian National Technical University was held, which was attended by delegates and invitees from trade union organizations of all university departments, as well as university Rector Sergei Kharitonchik, Deputy Chairman of the Belarusian Professional Union of Education and Science Workers Oksana Vasilevich, head of the Department for work with Institutions of Higher Education of the Belarusian Professional Union of Workers education and Science Tatiana Rubanik.
The Conference heard reports on the fulfillment of obligations under the BNTU Collective Agreement for 2019-2022 (extended for 2022-2025) for the first half of 2025. The information was provided by Oleg Gusev, Vice-rector for Academic Affairs, and Irina Vakhtina, Chairman of the Workers' trade union committee.
During the debate, a proposal was made to recognize the obligations of the parties to fulfill the Collective Agreement during the reporting period as fully fulfilled.
Irina Vakhtina then introduced the delegates to the draft Collective Agreement between BNTU and the BNTU Workers' Trade Union Committee for 2025-2028.
The collective agreement, which is the main document regulating the social partnership of the employer and the trade union organization, is accepted for three years. At the University Staff Conference on May 12, 2022, the BNTU Collective Agreement for 2019-2022 was extended for the next three years, from 2022 to 2025.
The "Agreement between the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Belarus and the Belarusian Professional Union of Education and Science Workers for 2025-2028", which was signed on June 3 this year and registered by the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection on July 15, 2025 as No. 429, was adopted as the basis for new collective negotiations at BNTU. A commission of authorized representatives of the rector's office and the trade union committee of employees, consisting of 6 people from each side, worked on the draft collective agreement. During the work, the commission considered proposals from structural divisions, financial services and branches of the university, some clauses and provisions of the contract were brought into line with the law, the provisions on bonuses, on the establishment of compensatory and incentive payments were updated, and appendices related to labor protection were included. The project passed a legal examination in the Republic of Kazakhstan by the branch trade union for compliance with the legislation and was posted for review on the university's website on the page of the vocational training of BNTU employees.
After discussion by the delegates, the draft agreement was unanimously adopted. The conference entrusted the signing of the BNTU Collective Agreement for 2025-2028 to the rector of the University Sergey Kharitonchik and the chairman of the trade union committee of workers Irina Vakhtina. Within a month, the signed Collective Agreement will be registered with the administration of the Sovetsky district of Minsk and posted on the Social Security Workers' page on the university's website.

On June 26, an off-site meeting of the trade union committee for vocational training of BNTU workers was held at the Ratomka sports and recreation center.
Irina Vakhtina, Chairman of the BPO, summed up the work of the BNTU workers' Trade union committee for the first half of 2025 and presented awards to the chairmen of the trade union bureau, who were first elected in 2024.

The participants of the meeting were also able to get acquainted with the sports facilities of the Ratomka Foundation and evaluate the possibility of holding sports and recreation events for members of the BNTU workers' union in this place.

On June 19, the chief technical labor inspectors of the Trade Union's organizational structures, led by Marina Lesun, the Chief Technical Labor Inspector of the Trade Union, visited BNTU as part of a training seminar.
Irina Vakhtina, Chairman of the BNTU Workers' Association, Gennady Sysoy, Head of the BNTU Labor Protection Department, and Valentina Mitrakhovich, a leading occupational safety engineer, introduced the technical inspectors to the practice of the BNTU and University workers' training programs for the protection of workers' rights to healthy and safe working conditions.
The visit also included a visit to the educational laboratory of the Faculty of Energy Construction and the teaching and mechanical workshops of the Faculty of Mechanics and Technology.

On June 10, at a meeting of the presidium of the Republican Committee of the Trade Union, the winners of the republican review competition for the best staging of mass sports and physical culture and recreation work among the organizational structures of the Trade Union for 2024 were awarded.
Irina Vakhtina, Chairman of the BNTU Workers' Association, was awarded a diploma of the 1st degree in the nomination "Primary Trade Union Organization of Workers".

On June 7-8, a Tourist rally was held on the Shchara River in Lipichanskaya Pushcha, organized by the primary trade union organization of BNTU workers.
Representatives of the workshop trade union organizations of workers of FMMP, EF, FTUG, IIFOiMO, SF, MTF, ATF, Lyceum of BNTU, branch of BNTU IPKiPK competed for the title of the most athletic, active and friendly.
The program of the tour included kayaking on the Shchara River, as well as sports competitions: a relay race among teams, a captain's competition, and shooting.
All participants received diplomas, certificates, and memorable gifts.
We thank the participants for their desire for victories and optimism, and the organizers for a wonderful holiday that went off with a bang and left many joyful moments in memory!

On the eve of Victory Day, Irina Sergeevna Vakhtina, Chairman of the BNTU Workers' Training Center, as well as representatives of the university and BNTU students, visited veterans of the Great Patriotic War and young concentration camp prisoners to express their gratitude, present them with flowers, food packages and cash gifts.
Victory Day is a holiday won in the hard battles for freedom and independence of the Motherland. This is a day of remembrance, deep respect and gratitude to all those who brought the Great Victory closer.

On May 8, a rally dedicated to the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War was held at the site in front of the main building of the Belarusian National Technical University. Irina Vakhtina, chairman of the BNTU Workers' Association, employees of the trade union committee and trade union activists took part in the rally.
As part of the rally, flowers were laid at the Stele of the deceased employees and students of the BPI during the Great Patriotic War.
