EXCURSION TO THE MINSK ZOO
On the occasion of the International Children's Day, the trade union committee of the PPO workers of the BNTU organized an excursion to the Minsk Zoo for the members of the trade union and their children.
From June 1 to 8, children and their parents were able to get acquainted with the numerous inhabitants of the zoo and learn a lot of new and interesting things about the life of animals in nature and interesting facts about their life at the zoo. Also, everyone could visit the permanent exhibitions (exotarium, aquarium, terrarium).
On January 19, 2022, as part of the ongoing campaign “Trade Unions for Children”, the chairman and employees of the trade union committee of the Primary Trade Union Organization of Workers of the Belarusian National Technical University, together with the chairman of the Sovetsky District Minsk Association of Trade Union Organizations Galina Zverko, visited the children’s department of the State Institution “Republican Scientific and Practical Center of Neurology and Neurosurgery” of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Belarus.
Children under treatment, most of whom are still tiny, have to fight for life every minute, cope with pain and difficulties, so it is so important to bring a little sunshine, joy and pleasant moments into their lives.
I would like to believe that the wishes of the little patients for a speedy recovery from the cheerful clown who presented them with sweet gifts and toys will come true in the New Year. After all, January 19 is the Bright Feast of the Epiphany of the Lord, a holiday of a pure soul and the fulfillment of desires, when you believe that a miracle will definitely happen, and the guys will cope with illnesses, and their mothers will never cry again.

PREPARATION FOR SCHOOL
The primary trade union organization of employees of the Belarusian National Technical University, in accordance with the Collective Agreement of the Belarusian National Technical University for 2019-2022, provides financial assistance to university employees - members of the trade union to prepare schoolchildren under the age of 17 inclusive for the new academic year. As of September 1, 2021, 518 trade union members for 660 children received such assistance. The total amount of assistance was 28,710 rubles. The trade union committee will continue to provide material assistance to trade union members to prepare children for school in September.
In addition, within the framework of the traditional Republican action "Trade unions for children", the trade union committee of BNTU workers prepared gifts for children brought up in guardian families and for the families of workers in which disabled children are brought up. We have collected for the children everything that will be useful to them in school.
