On June 1, as part of the action of the FSB "Trade Unions for Children" and in connection with the International Children's Day of the BNTU Workers, a visit to the Minsk Planetarium was organized for trade union members from among BNTU workers and their children aged 3 to 14 years inclusive. 340 tickets were purchased.
First, an unusual spherical movie was shown for children, and then a tour of the fascinating starry sky.
2024
Within the framework of the republican charity events "Trade Unions for Children" and "From the bottom of my heart", from December 26, 2024 to January 15, 2025, the trade union committee of vocational training of BNTU workers organized and conducted the following events:
🌿 "Trade Unions for children"
For the children of members of the BNTU workers' union:
-1,044 tickets worth 31634 rubles were purchased for the New Year's performance at the Republican Recreation Center of Trade Unions. Tickets were provided free of charge to children and large families (both parents and children). One accompanying parent – for 50% of the ticket price;
-1,079 sweet New Year gifts were purchased and given out for a total amount of 39,426.66 rubles;
- On 12/23/2024, the presentation "Magical New Year" took place at the BNTU. The holiday was organized by the BNTU Department of Cultural Affairs on the initiative of the rector's office with the participation of the trade union committee. Sweet New Year's treats were prepared for the children.
🌿 "From the bottom of my heart"
-On New Year's Eve and Christmas, representatives of the trade union committee visited 9 veterans of the Great Patriotic War and young concentration camp prisoners at home to express their gratitude, give them sweet gifts and a monetary reward from the trade union committee of 100 rubles each.
- 08.01.2025 The trade union committee organized a Round table to which veterans of the BNTU trade union movement and representatives of the youth activists of the BNTU workers' association were invited. During the discussions and exchange of views, it was decided to establish a Council of Veterans under the trade union Committee of the Vocational Training of BNTU workers from among the former chairmen of the guild trade union organizations of the vocational training of BNTU workers, labor veterans who are currently retired. All the veterans of the trade union movement were awarded a "Lucky List" from the trade union committee, a cash payment of 100 rubles each, and sweet gifts were presented to them.
September 2023
As part of the "Trade Unions for Children" campaign, 85 members of the BNTU workers' vocational training union received financial assistance to prepare children going to 1st grade for the beginning of the school year. The total amount of assistance provided was 8550,00 rubles.
A subsidy to reduce the cost of children's vouchers to the BNTU Polytechnic children's health camp was received by 135 trade union members for 157 children. The total amount of non-cash subsidies amounted to 7850,00 rubles.
In addition, the children of the trade union members rested in other cities with union subsidies, the total amount of which was 850,00 rubles.

MINSK ZOO TOUR
On the occasion of the International Children's Day, the Trade union committee of vocational training of BNTU workers organized an excursion to the Minsk Zoo for trade union members and their children.
From June 1 to June 8, children and their parents were able to get acquainted with the numerous inhabitants of the zoo and learn a lot of new and interesting things about the peculiarities of animal life in nature and interesting facts from their life in the zoo. Also, everyone could visit the permanent exhibitions (exotarium, aquarium, terrarium).

WHEN WE BELIEVE IN A MIRACLE
As part of the permanent action "Trade Unions for Children" on January 19, 2022, the chairman and employees of the Trade Union Committee of the Primary Trade Union Organization of Workers of the Belarusian National Technical University, together with the chairman of the Sovetsky District Minsk Association of Trade Union organizations, Galina Zverko, visited the children's department of the Republican Scientific and Practical Center of Neurology and Neurosurgery of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Belarus.
Children in treatment, most of whom are very young, have to fight for their lives every minute, cope with pain and difficulties, which is why it is so important to bring at least a little sunshine, joy and pleasant moments into their lives.
I would like to believe that the wishes of the little patients for a speedy recovery from the funny clown who gave them sweet gifts and toys will be fulfilled in the New Year. After all, January 19 is the Bright feast of the Epiphany of the Lord, the feast of a pure soul and fulfillment of desires, when you believe that a miracle will surely happen, and the children will cope with illnesses, and their mothers will never cry again.

PREPARING FOR SCHOOL
The primary trade Union Organization of Employees of the Belarusian National Technical University, in accordance with the BNTU Collective Agreement for 2019-2022, provides financial assistance to university employees who are members of the trade union to prepare school children under the age of 17 for the new academic year. As of 01.09.2021, 518 trade union members for 660 children received such assistance. The total amount of assistance was 28,710 rubles. The Trade Union Committee will continue to provide financial assistance to trade union members to prepare children for school in September.
In addition, as part of the traditional Republican campaign "Trade Unions for children", the trade union committee of BNTU workers prepared gifts for children raised in foster care and for families of workers with children with disabilities. We have collected everything for the children that will be useful to them in school classes.
