Sector of migration registration and support of foreign students

The sector of migration registration and support of foreign students solves issues related to the migration service.

The main activities of the sector are:

• preparation of applications and petitions for registration and renewal of registrations at the place of stay and residence in the departments for citizenship and migration;
• making changes to a valid temporary residence permit in case of a change in personal data and a change of place of residence;
• preparation and execution of visas (exit, exit-entry single, double and multiple) for studying foreign citizens in the departments of citizenship and migration;
• deregistration of expelled, departed or graduated foreign citizens;
• control of registration deadlines, validity of national passports and visas of foreign students;
• carrying out explanatory work on compliance with migration legislation with foreign students and listeners.

Foreign citizens who arrived in the Republic of Belarus for the purpose of studying are  obliged  , within two days from the moment of entry  into the territory of the Republic of Belarus, to apply to the sector of migration registration and accompaniment of foreign students of the Faculty of International Cooperation for registration of registration of temporary residence (Independence Ave., 67, k. 1 , room 131; +375 17 257 75 73).

You must have with you:

• foreign passport with a visa for study;
• receipts of payment of the state fee for registration (temporary stay - 1 base unit (if foreign citizens arrived in the Republic of Belarus  through the State Border with the Russian Federation  -  45 Belarusian rubles (1 base unit)) ;
• medical insurance (except for citizens of Armenia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Ukraine, Russia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan).

Insurance is issued in the sector of migration registration and accompaniment of foreign students (67 Nezalezhnosti Ave., office 131. Phone: +375 (17) 257-75-73).

After the conclusion and signing of the contract for training, payment of tuition fees and the issuance of the Order on admission to BNTU, you will have to arrange temporary residence for the period of your study at the university.

• foreign passport with a visa for study;
• a notarized translation of a foreign passport into Russian in the Republic of Belarus;
• 4 photos;
• rental agreement for residential premises (dormitory/apartment);
• receipts for payment of the state fee for registration (temporary stay -  45 Belarusian rubles (1 base unit) + receipt for payment of registration - 135 Belarusian rubles (3 base units) ;
• a completed application form (issued by employees of the department);
• medical insurance (except for citizens of Armenia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Ukraine, Russia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan). ATTENTION! when changing the place of residence within 24 hours from the moment of conclusion of the contract for the rental of residential premises, it is necessary to contact the sector of migration registration and accompaniment of foreign students (67 Nezavisimosti Ave., k. 1, room 131) to process the change of address.

Foreign students are required to reside only at the place of temporary stay (residence) at which they are registered.
