THE STEPS FOR FOREIGN CITIZENS HOW TO APPEAL DUE TO ILLNESS
The foreign citizens who are ill and who live in dormitory № 18 BNTU at Dzerzhinskogo Prospekt 83/16 apply to the department registration of “Studencheskay Derevna” at Cherlyonisa Street 1.
The foreign citizens (students) who live in other dormitories or in the flats get medical treatment in the health clinic at Surganova Street 45/4 (except the students who have called an ambulance. In this situation medical treatment is provided at the place of call).
The foreign citizens who are ill appeal to a medical receptionist – student clinic’s office 602. The medical receptionist (clinic’s office 602) specifies the reason for appeal (the high temperature? pain? bleeding?) to clarify to the citizen how the medical care will be provided: for free of charge (under the terms of the insurance policy or when it is a life-threatening disease); for a fee (on the patient’s fund). Then the medical receptionist gives the doctor’s appointment card (talon) for the foreign citizen who is ill to the appointment in the offices for foreigners (offices 604, 611, 612, 613) in a health clinic and makes the contract for the payment for medical service.
During the mass medical check-ups of foreign citizens (the end of August – the beginning of October) or when the doctor of the office for foreign students is absent, the medical receptionist refers a patient to:
- a general practice doctor’s office / a head of department (it depends on institution for higher education);
- to a medical specialist’s office (in otorinolaryngological: ear, nose, throat care doctor; ophtalmological: eye care doctor; neurological: neurologist; surgical; endocrinological pathology), after prior consultation with the doctors.
If a patient is no need of emergency services the medical receptionist refers the patient to a health clinic’s cash register for payment of the contract (office 200) after that the patient gets medical treatment.
