The Center is a structural unit of the Belarusian National Technical University (hereinafter – BNTU) and was created for the organizational, scientific and methodological support of educational programs of higher education, advanced training of employees and specialists with higher education, implemented at BNTU.

The Center for the Development of Engineering Education and the organization of the educational process was established by the order of the Rector of the University dated 08.11.2011 No. 1156.
Based on the Order No. 12-P dated 02/06/2023, the Center was reorganized and includes the following divisions:

— Educational and methodical management;
— Management of long-term planning of educational activities;
— Management of student certification and assessment of the quality of the educational process;
— Graduate Marketing and Distribution Department;
— The sector of educational integration support.

The main functions of the Center include:

— organization of the educational process in the implementation of educational programs of general higher education, advanced higher education, special higher education in full-time (full-time) and correspondence (including distance) forms;
— development of local regulatory legal documents in the field of higher education and their implementation in the educational process;
— providing methodological assistance to faculties and departments, teaching staff on issues of educational and methodological work at BNTU;
— providing methodological and organizational support for the use of distance learning tools in the implementation of educational programs of higher education;
— registration of educational documents (higher education diplomas, master's degrees, duplicate diplomas), maintaining a database of educational documents issued by BNTU;
— accounting and monitoring of applications for training specialists received by BNTU and agreements on cooperation between BNTU and organizations that order personnel in the training of specialists;
— formation and maintenance of an electronic database, submission of reporting, statistical, and informational data, including operational data, to government agencies and the founder on the results of distribution, redistribution, referral, subsequent placement of graduates, employment, recovery, and reimbursement of funds to the republican budget spent by the state on training a young specialist, and other data as needed.

— ensuring the interaction of educational and methodological associations in the field of higher education and additional adult education, operating on the basis of the BNTU for scientific and methodological support of educational processes;
— generalization and dissemination of advanced pedagogical experience, consultations for interested organizations on improving the quality of education.
