32 years ago, on February 15, with the withdrawal of Soviet troops from Afghanistan, the war ended, which lasted twice as long as the Great Patriotic War. She walked thousands of kilometers from the Belarusian land, but left scars in the memory of not only 30 thousand of our fellow countrymen who passed through it, but also of all our people.
On the Day of Remembrance of Soldiers-Internationalists, students of the branch of BNTU "Minsk State Architectural and Construction College" took part in the solemn ceremony of laying flowers on the island of Courage and Sorrow.
In the assembly hall of the branch, a meeting was held with the internationalist soldier, commander of a platoon of a motorized rifle battalion, teacher of the branch, Semikov Andrey Gennadievich. What he saw and heard became a real lesson in Courage.
We hope that the meeting will remain in the hearts of the students as a reminder that as long as human memory is alive, the Human is also alive.
