Science is our everything: the scientific and technical conference “Instrument Engineering - 2024” was launched

Yesterday, November 27, 2024, the 17th International Scientific and Technical Conference “Instrument Engineering - 2024” started its work. It is attended by 300 scientists, engineers and researchers from 35 organizations of 8 countries.

For reference: the purpose of the conference is to activate scientific and innovative activity aimed at solving actual problems of instrumentation engineering.

The conference was co-organized by JSC “Integral” - the managing company of “Integral” holding. The partners are JSC “Planar”, JSC “MNIPI” and JSC “Peleng”. These enterprises presented their products at the exhibition.

The program of the first day included a plenary session, where Ksenia Yakushenko, Vice-Rector of the Belarusian National Technical University for Scientific Work, made a welcoming speech. First Deputy Chairman of the Presidium of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus Mr. Sergei Chizhik gave a welcoming speech.

Then, the welcoming speech of Alexey Kozlov, Deputy Minister of Industry, was read by Alexander Svistun, Deputy Chairman of the Organizing Committee.

Alexander Burak, Deputy Chairman of the State Committee for Standardization of the Republic of Belarus, delivered his welcoming speech and report.

Ksenia Yakushenko pointed out the level of scientific and practical conferences organized by the Belarusian National Technical University.

- We are very glad that it has gone beyond the university and is held at an external site. The reports cover such areas as measurement systems and devices, technical means of security, research methods, metrological support of measurements, physical, physical and mathematical, material science, technological bases of instrumentation, optics and electronic systems, laser technology, etc. We would like to touch upon such promising areas that are widely discussed in Belarus as artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, biomedical technologies, unmanned transportation systems, micro sensors.

The session included reports on the concept of development of the reference base of Belarus, problems of microelectronics development and promising developments in the field of instrumentation and other relevant topics of the industry.

Today the conference participants are expected to work in the thematic sections organized on the basis of the Belarusian National Technical University.
