Training of foreign citizens

Belarusian national technical university is a leader in technical education and one of the oldest higher educational institutions in Belarus. The university was founded on December 10, 1920 and celebrated its 100th anniversary in 2020.

Today BNTU is a multinational and multicultural university with over 3,000 international students. The university implements multifaceted international activities, the purpose of which is to internationalize the university through scientific and educational projects and programs, participation in international university networks, organizing the mobility of staff and students, developing international educational programs for foreign students, holding international conferences and seminars.

For more than 100 years of history, the university has prepared and released:

  • over 185 thousand highly qualified specialists for the Republic of Belarus;
  • over 7000 specialists for 120 countries of the world.

Foreign citizens and stateless persons who do not reside on the territory of the Republic of Belarus can enter the university for higher education:

  • on a paid basis - in accordance with international treaties of the Republic of Belarus;
  • on a paid basis - according to the results of the end of the preparatory department ;
  • on a paid basis - based on the results of an interview that establishes the level of their proficiency in the language in which the educational process is carried out, in an amount sufficient to master the content of the educational program.

Foreign citizens are given the opportunity to stay in a comfortable hostel of the university.
