International Relations and Cooperation

The International Association of Construction Universities unites countries including the Russian Federation, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Ukraine, Armenia, Tajikistan, Azerbaijan, and Kyrgyzstan. The Association's activities focus on supporting integrative processes in universities across the CIS, addressing and resolving issues related to the training of qualified personnel, conducting joint scientific research in construction, and developing professional standards and qualification requirements for bachelors, specialists, and masters in the field of construction.

The Faculty maintains strong international ties with Bialystok and Plock Technical Universities (Republic of Poland), as well as with companies and universities in the Czech Republic, Slovakia, and Germany, where faculty members and students participate in internships and practical training. The Faculty hosts students from numerous countries, including Lebanon, Morocco, Iran, and others.

The Faculty of Civil Engineering actively participates in and coordinates two projects (EWENT and ACTIVE) under the EU Erasmus Mundus program. Participation in these projects has enabled students, master's students, doctoral candidates, and faculty members to study and undergo training at the Czech Technical University in Prague (2 participants), Warsaw University of Technology (6 participants), and Dublin Institute of Technology (2 participants), fostering further collaboration.

Through its cooperation with Bialystok Technical University (Poland), the Faculty engages in regular student exchanges, faculty internships, and guest lectures. Annual conferences and scientific seminars are jointly organized in both Poland and Belarus, with the publication of scientific works.

Under the scientific cooperation agreement between the Polish Academy of Sciences and the Belarusian National Academy of Sciences, BNTU collaborates with Bialystok Technical University on a joint Polish-Belarusian research project for 2014-2016 titled "Enterprise Readiness to Create a Cross-Border Production Cooperation Network."
