On March 11, 2026, Academic Building No. 17 of BNTU turned into a venue for intellectual competition as the university hosted its Physics Olympiad. This year, the organizers decided to broaden their horizons, making the event much more than a standard student contest.
The main highlight of the Olympiad was a record number of international participants. Students from Nigeria, Turkey, Syria, Turkmenistan, and China decided to test their knowledge and compete for prizes alongside their Belarusian peers. This not only enriched the event but also emphasized the international status of BNTU.
However, the surprises didn't stop there. For the first time, school students were widely involved: 32 students from the 10th and 11th grades of the BNTU Lyceum came to challenge themselves. For them, it was an excellent opportunity to experience the student atmosphere and gauge the level of problems that await them in the future.
In total, 79 people took part in the Olympiad.
