Students undergo vocational training at the department “Machines and technology of metal forming them. S.I. Gubkin”.
During the period of study at the university, students master the basics of theory and practice in the field of technology and equipment for forging and die production, computer-aided design systems, development, implementation and ensuring the optimal functioning of process automation systems.
Students participate in the research work of the department, laboratory, engineering center to create methods and equipment for cold and hot rolling, molding powder materials and granules, recycling waste from various industries.
Graduates are prepared for production and technological, design and research activities in the profile of their chosen specialty.
