Gymnasium No. 6 in Minsk
Students of the 10th "A" class of Gymnasium No. 6 in Minsk visited BNTU. The departments of "Machines and Technology of Foundry Production" and "Machines and Technology of Metal Forming" prepared a practical lesson with elements of an excursion. The lesson was conducted by Alyona Aleksandrovna Franchuk, an engineer of the second category at the Department of "MTLP", Artyom Grigoryevich Zhoglo, an assistant at the Department of "MTOMD", and Polina Valerievna Galimskaya, an engineer at the Department of "MTOMD". The guys learned the basics of foundry production, how to choose and prepare casting molds.
They also learned about various technologies and equipment for metal forming and tried to understand the process of creating copper wire.
