The department trains specialists qualified as software engineers in the educational profile "Engineering and Technology", the educational direction "Computer Engineering", the group of specialties "Mathematical and Software Tools" in the following specialties:
- Specialty 1-40 01 01 “ Information Technology Software”
- specialization 1- 40 01 01 05 “Quality management and software testing” (full-time education)
The specialty “Information Technology Software” prepares universal software engineers. Provides knowledge in the field of technical information systems, the basics of algorithmization and programming in high-level languages, operating system architecture and object-oriented programming.
- Specialty 6-05-0612-01 “Software Engineering”
The specialty trains specialists in the field of industrial software development. Particular attention is paid to the study of all stages of the software life cycle, as well as popular development technologies such as test automation, DevOps, DBMS, mobile development. At the same time, both issues of the operation of computer systems and high-level programming are studied, which makes it possible to form a specialist with a holistic view.
- Specialty 1-40 05 01 “ Information systems and technologies”
During the training process, subject areas related to the theory and methodology of object-oriented programming, local and distributed applications, software engineering, methods and systems for mathematical modeling of processes and devices, methods and means of data management, working with engineering graphics, methods and algorithms of adoption are studied. decisions, etc.
- direction 1-40 05 01-01 “Information systems and technologies in design and production”
One of the differences from other specialties that train specialists in the field of information technology (IT) is fundamental engineering training. Students study courses in modeling engineering structures, disciplines in the study of design automation tools, design of production processes (CAD, CAM, CAE), product life cycle management (CALS technologies, PDM/PLM systems) combined with disciplines common to most IT specialties development of mobile, Internet, Windows applications and databases, modern courses on design, development and testing of software and databases.
- direction 1 40 05 01 04 “Information systems and technologies in the processing and presentation of information”
- specialization 1 40 05 01 04 01 “Mathematical support and system programming” (full-time education)
Graduates of the direction are programmers with advanced functionality. They are capable of not only writing a computer program, but also conducting a complete analysis of the need for a particular product, the feasibility of its use, etc. They can deal with mathematical support for networks and systems, including in large government and commercial structures. They hold positions of business analysts and technical directors.
- Specialty 6-05-0611-01 “Information systems and technologies”
- major “Information systems and technologies in design and production”
The fundamental principles of computer hardware and software, technologies for creating software systems and computing systems, integrating computers into networks, organizing databases, information security issues, and developing local and network applications are studied.
Graduates are proficient in modern means of creating software products that implement computer modeling of systems and processes, presentation, storage, protection and processing of information using various tool environments.
Among the disciplines studied there are both general education and engineering disciplines, as well as a number of special ones, such as “Fundamentals of algorithmization and programming”, “Object-oriented programming”, “Programming technologies”, “Organization and functioning of computers”, “Operating systems”, “Computer networks”, etc., based on the study of programming languages C++, C#, Asp, Visual Basic, HTML, PHP, .NET and Java/J2EE technologies, data transfer formats and standards, fundamentals of computer architecture, distributed computing systems, etc.
A number of courses (“Computer Graphics Systems”, “3-D Modeling of Engineering Structures”) teach techniques for working with computer graphics, obtaining and processing images (“Pattern Recognition Methods”, “Image Processing Methods and Algorithms”), and AutoCAD computer-aided design systems , SolidWorks, COMPASS.
A number of courses are studied (“Databases”, “Knowledge Bases and Decision Support in CAD”) in the field of designing databases and database applications, technologies for transferring and storing data, and database management systems.
A number of special disciplines: “Computer methods of mathematical modeling”, “Computer systems of finite element calculations” provide knowledge in the field of engineering calculations and mathematical modeling.
Engineering training in the specialty is crowned by a number of applied disciplines such as “Fundamentals of Design Automation”, “Automation of Technological Design of Structures”, which provide knowledge in the areas of automation of production processes and technologies for the development of automated production control systems.
Graduates of the department are IT specialists: future project managers, programmers, software product testing specialists, system administrators of government and commercial structures in various industries. Today, most graduates work in the development of modern computer systems and information technologies.
The department also provides training for undergraduates and graduate students in the following specialties:
