Slobodnyak Ekaterina

Education:

  • in 1993, graduated from the Brest State Pedagogical Institute named after A.S. Pushkin with a degree in "Physical Culture";
  • in 2004, graduated from the Institute for Advanced Training and Retraining of Managers and Specialists of the Educational Establishment "Brest State University named after A.S. Pushkin" with a degree in "Jurisprudence".

Professional activity:

  • since 2006 – lecturer at the Department of Physical Culture of BNTU;
  • since 2016 – senior lecturer at the Department of Physical Culture of the Sports and Technical Faculty of BNTU;
  • was responsible for information technology at the Department of Physical Culture;
  • fulfilled teaching load in groups of the main department of the Faculty of Energy, the Faculty of Architecture, currently at the Faculty of Instrumentation Engineering;
  • developed and applies an author's comprehensive scale for assessing the level of flexibility development in female students;
  • develops and applies modern fitness health systems in the process of integrated fitness training to improve the physical fitness of students of the main and preparatory departments;
  • during the period of distance learning, successfully mastered the work on the Teams educational platform.

Research activity:

  • conducts research within the framework of the departmental research theme carried out during the second half of the working day of the teaching staff (2020–2025, state registration No. 21-287) "Programming of integrated fitness workouts in physical education of BNTU students";
  • based on the results of the previous departmental research theme, published 12 scientific papers;
  • regularly participates in scientific-methodological conferences of BNTU;
  • has 39 scientific publications.

Continuing professional development:

  • January–February 2007 – at the Institute for Advanced Training and Retraining of BSUPC with a programme "Use of modern technologies in the practice of physical education of teachers and institutions providing higher education";
  • June 2011 – at the Institute for Advanced Training and Retraining of BSUPC with a programme "Modern approaches to the organisation of physical education of students";
  • February–March 2015 – at RIIT BNTU with a programme "Occupational safety in the education system";
  • November–December 2015 – at RIIT BNTU with a programme "Psychological, pedagogical and methodological support of swimming classes for students";
  • January–February 2019 – at RIIT BNTU with a programme "Organisation and methodological support of swimming classes for students";
  • March–April 2021 – at the BNTU branch "Institute of Advanced Training and Retraining" with a programme "Innovative Educational Technologies and Methods";
  • January 2023 – at the EE "BSUPC" with a programme "Organisation of Classes and Methods of Teaching Swimming".

Sports achievements:

  • since 1985 – Master of Sports of the USSR in Rhythmic Gymnastics;
  • 1984–1987 – member of the USSR national team in Rhythmic Gymnastics;
  • in 1986 – Champion of the USSR Championship in Rhythmic Gymnastics in Volgograd;
  • 1984–1988 – prize-winner of international, all-Union and republican competitions in Rhythmic Gymnastics as a member of the national teams of the USSR, the BSSR and the Central Sports Society "Dynamo";
  • sports referee of the 1st category in Rhythmic Gymnastics.
