В г. Горки 16–17 апреля 2021 года прошел чемпионат Республики Беларусь по классическому пауэрлифтингу.

Для справки: пауэрлифтинг – силовое троеборье. Соревнования по пауэлифтингу включают три упражнения: приседания со штангой, жим штанги лежа на горизонтальной скамье и тяга штанги. Результаты соревнований определяют по сумме трех упражнений.

Лидер сборной Белорусского национального технического университета по пауэрлифтингу, студент 6-го курса архитектурного факультета, мастер спорта Дмитрий Манкевич (гр. 11101315) в очередной раз порадовал своим выступлением. В весовой категории 105 кг по сумме троеборья (837,5 кг) он занял первое место и завоевал титул абсолютного чемпиона Республики Беларусь, установив рекорд по стране в тяге с результатом 352,5 кг!
