The foreign separate division of the Belarusian National Technical University is a joint faculty of BNTU-TSTU with the Tashkent State Transport University (Republic of Uzbekistan, Tashkent), which began work in 2019.
The legal basis for the creation of a joint faculty was a number of international agreements, in particular, the Agreement between the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Belarus and the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan on cooperation in the field of education. After the talks between the President of Belarus Alexander Grigoryevich Lukashenko and the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Miromonovich Mirziyoyev, in pursuance of the instructions of the Council of Ministers and the Prime Minister of Belarus S.N. Rumas and as part of the implementation of the action plan (“Roadmap”) for the development of cooperation between the Republic of Belarus and the Republic of Uzbekistan dated November 2, 2018, in order to develop international interuniversity cooperation and implement agreements between the Minister of Education of the Republic of Belarus I.V. Karpenko and the Minister of Higher and Secondary Specialized Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan I.U. Majidov, Belarusian National Technical University is actively working to increase the attractiveness of educational services and the export potential of the Republic of Belarus.
