An initiative association of students, the Technical Operation and Design of Automobiles (TEKA) team, is successfully operating within the framework of the PKTS StKB.
The scientific and practical activities of the Bureau are as follows:
Automotive industry and car operation, car parts modeling
Electrical and Electrical engineering
Development of prototypes of technical devices using 3D printing
Programming of electronic control units and microcontrollers
The Bureau also includes Andrey Dmitrievich Kutz, an engineer of the Department of "TEA", (deputy head), Ilya Vladimirovich Gornak, an engineer of the Department of "TEA", (secretary of the Bureau), Andrey Anatolyevich Dzema (head of the Polytech Roadster project), students P.A. Faley, V.D. Nevertovich, A.E. Volosevich, Dudko D.V., Shpilevsky V.S., Labikov E.A., Shemet V.S., Vetrov I.D. The Bureau is constantly replenished with new people.
The Bureau is a voluntary community of the most motivated and promising students who strive to go beyond the standard educational program. Our team is a practical platform for the application of theoretical knowledge, where, under the guidance of experienced mentors, a personnel reserve is formed for leading enterprises of the Republic of Belarus.
The main mission of the Fuel and Energy Complex team is to create an environment for professional growth, the development of engineering thinking and the implementation of innovative projects in the field of transport engineering. Participation in the work of the association allows students to gain unique experience in the field of design, research and development of promising structures.
The most outstanding projects of the Bureau include the following:
Electric moving part for car ("Leafada 2114e")
The project is an electric vehicle based on the chassis of the VAZ 2114 car, which integrates elements from the Nissan Leaf (electric motor, inverter, battery cell assembly). The uniqueness of the project is due to a set of technical solutions combining standard components of an electric vehicle, complemented by inverter and battery control devices.
technical specifications
Base chassis – VAZ 2114
Electric motor – synchronous, EM61 from Nissan Leaf
Inverter – Nissan Leaf Gen1
Power – 90 kW /123 hp
. Torque – 280 Nm, available from 0 rpm! 🚀
Battery voltage – 96 V
Battery power reserve – 5.7 kWh
Curb weight is only 970 kg.
The project was created by the TEK team (primarily I.V. Gornak) with the active participation of P.A. Faley, V.D. Nevertovich and I.A. Serebryakov.
Wind Tunnel model
The project is a working prototype that creates an air flow and adds smoke to visually explore the flow of scale models (up to 1:43). The device helps to analyze and improve aerodynamics, which leads to increased fuel efficiency and stability of the car.
Technical characteristics and advantages:
Air flow rate – up to 13 m/s
Smoke generator for visualization
Moving support surface (up to 7 m/s) for dynamic testing
Compactness (700*250*250 mm) and modularity
The project was created by the TEK team (Kutz A.D., Faley P.A., Nevertovich V.D., Yanushkevich E.L., Gornak I.V., Osipenko K.E.)
Universal charger SZU-1/120
It is intended for charging the rechargeable battery of the Leafada 2114e electric vehicle.
Main technical specifications:
Output voltage: 80 – 120V (adjustable)
Output current: 0 – 10A (steplessly adjustable)
Maximum power: up to 1 kW
Efficiency: 92%
Protection: short circuit protection is provided
Cooling: built-in forced cooling system
Project Developers:
The main contribution to the development and creation of the device was made by: Serebryakov Igor Andreevich, Gornak Ilya, Faley Pavel, as well as Valery Nevertovich and Egor Yanushkevich.
Temperature maintenance system for technical devices
The system consists of a stand consisting of a working circuit with cooling elements, nozzles for supplying coolant, a tank, a power supply unit, an electric pump, a purge circuit, connecting pipes, wires, thermometers for temperature control, buttons and controls for the system. The system is based on Peltier elements, which are thermoelectric converters. If a constant voltage is applied to the terminals of the element, then one of the sides of the element will begin to cool, while the temperature of the other side will rise. The coolant is sprayed onto the Pelte elements, and depending on the direction of the current, it is cooled or heated.
Model Characteristics:
heating and cooling power consumption – 200 watts,
Cooling efficiency is 37%, heating efficiency is 92%.
The system was developed by P.A. Faley under the guidance of A.D. Kutsa.
Polytech Roadster
The project is a stylish youth car made in a roadster body using composite materials and a spatial frame. Nodes and components are created using welding and additive technologies based on a digital twin.
The project was developed in accordance with modern global requirements for the development of cars. During the design process, the issues of passive and active safety, ergonomics and manufacturing technology of original components are being worked out.
The main goal of the project is to provide students with the opportunity to gain practical experience in building cars, as well as conduct virtual crash tests, study aerodynamic and strength characteristics, develop their own mechanisms, drives, and change suspension kinematics.
The Bureau is currently working on projects such as:
"Development of the architecture of an unmanned vehicle based on karting" (Gornak I.V., Faley P.A., Nevertovich V.D., Volosevich A.E., Dudko D.V.)
"Development of a prototype of an electric moving part of a truck" (Gornak I.V., Faley P.A., Volosevich A.E., Nevertovich V.D.)
"Creation of a simulator stand for studying the basics of physics and electrical engineering based on automotive components" (Serebryakov I.A., Apanel E.D., Volosevich A.E.)
Up-to-date information about the Bureau's developments and activities is published in the Telegram channel of the BNTU Fuel and Energy Complex (https://t.me/sntb_teka )
