Department of Information and Technical Support for Educational Processes (ITSEDP) of the Automotive and Tractor Faculty (ATF):
Established in 1987 through the efforts of the faculty's leading departments as a computing center, the Department of Information and Technical Support for Educational Processes (ITSEDP) at the Automotive and Tractor Faculty (ATF) includes two computer labs (rooms 402 and 407a) equipped with modern personal computers interconnected in a local area network (LAN). A wide range of peripheral equipment, including laser and inkjet printers (including color printers), scanners, wide-format plotters, and multimedia equipment, allows for conducting laboratory and practical classes, as well as completing coursework, diploma projects, and scientific and technical research at a modern level.
Faculty staff and students have access to the global Internet network through the faculty and university LAN. Information about the departments and research units of the ATF is widely available on the BNTU website.
The department manages the assembly hall of the 8th educational building, equipped with sound equipment and lighting fixtures for hosting mass events and student activities.
The department team ensures that computer science, informatics, CAD, and other related classes are conducted in the computer labs, develops a variety of methodological and software materials, and provides consultations for faculty members and department staff on the use of computing technology and software. The department also assists graduate students and doctoral candidates in preparing their theses, monographs, and reports, as well as supporting the dean's office in developing and formatting curricula, tracking workload, and other tasks. In addition to these functions, staff members are involved in layout and printing of methodological and presentation brochures, advertising materials, curricula, ATF advertisements, and visual aids, as well as overseeing student internships and staff training.
