Overview and Activities:
Since its inception, the "Belaya Rus" Primary Organization at the Belarusian National Technical University (BNTU) has established a tradition of conducting various republican campaigns and events. These initiatives often involve collaboration with other public organizations, political parties, local authorities, youth groups, and veterans. The aim is to address significant social issues and promote public awareness.

Major Campaigns and Events:

1. New Year with Belaya Rus: Focused on congratulating children from large families, orphanages, social shelters, and gifted children.
   
2. Belaya Rus Cares for Veterans: Involves the maintenance of memorial sites and graves of WWII veterans and victims, as well as providing assistance and congratulations to veterans.

3. Belaya Rus for Rural Workers: Recognizes top performers in sowing and harvesting campaigns, participates in various harvest festivals, and village celebrations.

4. School of Young Leaders: Provides socio-political training for promising student leaders.

5. Belaya Rus with Love for Children: Celebrates parents of children born on the Independence Day of the Republic of Belarus.

6. Love Belarus! Promotes Belarusian folk and patriotic music among the population.

7. Belaya Rus for Future Defenders of the Motherland: Enhances the prestige of military service among pre-conscription youth.

8. Reading with Belaya Rus: Encourages the reading of children's books.

9. Belaya Rus for the Revival of Cultural and Historical Heritage: Supports the revival and preservation of Belarusian cultural and historical heritage.

10. Radio from Belaya Rus: Provides wireless radios to elderly rural residents and visually impaired citizens.

11. Golden Pen of Belaya Rus: A creative writing contest for young journalists.

12. Other Campaigns: Includes initiatives like "To School with Belaya Rus", "Belaya Rus for Children's Road Safety", and "Belaya Rus for Road Traffic Safety" (coinciding with Driver's Day).

These campaigns aim to address various social issues, such as birth rates, food security, respect for labor, and historical memory of the Great Patriotic War, all embedded with the organization's ideology.

Annual Report and Election Conference:
On March 5, a report and election conference of the BNTU "Belaya Rus" Primary Organization was held at the Belarusian National Technical University. The event was attended by the First Vice-Rector of BNTU Andrey Safonov, Vice-Rector for Student Affairs Timur Matyushinets, and staff from various faculties and departments of BNTU.

Timur Matyushinets presented the organization's activity report, highlighting the achievements and results of the BNTU "Belaya Rus" Primary Organization. The organization's work was deemed satisfactory based on the presented information.

Election Results:

  • Chairman: Timur Matyushinets
  • Vice-Chairman: Tatyana Prots, Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Marketing, Management, and Entrepreneurship.
  • Delegates for the VIII report and election conference of the Sovetsky District Organization of Minsk "Belaya Rus": Timur Matyushinets and Alesya Yanush, Senior Lecturer at the Department of Urban Planning, Faculty of Architecture.

During the conference, membership cards were also presented to Yulia Mazanik, Head of the Customs Department, Faculty of Management Technologies and Humanities, and Artem Radkevich, Trainee Lecturer at the Faculty of Information Technologies and Robotics.

Report and Election Conference of the Primary Organization "Belaya Rus" at BNTU

On March 5, a report and election conference of the primary organization "Belaya Rus" at BNTU was held at the Belarusian National Technical University. The event was attended by BNTU First Vice-Rector Andrey Safonov, BNTU Vice-Rector for Student Affairs Timur Matyushinets, and staff from various BNTU faculties and departments.

The conference agenda included the following:

  • Report on the work of the organization for the period from 2022 to the present;
  • Election of the chairman of the primary organization "Belaya Rus" at BNTU;
  • Election of the deputy chairman; election of representatives to the VIII report and election conference of the Sovetsky District Organization of Minsk "Belaya Rus";
  • Ceremonial presentation of membership cards to members of the primary organization "Belaya Rus" at BNTU.

The report on the work of the republican public organization was presented by Timur Vladimirovich. He mentioned the results of the activities and achievements of the primary organization "Belaya Rus" at BNTU. Based on the presented information, the work of the organization was recognized as satisfactory.

By open voting, the following were determined: chairman of the primary organization "Belaya Rus" at BNTU – Timur Matyushinets, deputy chairman – Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Marketing, Management, and Entrepreneurship Tatyana Prots, as well as delegates to the VIII report and election conference of the Sovetsky District Organization of Minsk "Belaya Rus" Timur Vladimirovich and senior lecturer of the "Urban Planning" department of the architectural faculty Alesya Yanush.

In addition, within the framework of the conference, membership cards of the primary organization "Belaya Rus" at BNTU were presented to the head of the "Customs" department of the Faculty of Management Technologies and Humanitarianization Yulia Mazanik and trainee teacher of the Faculty of Information Technologies and Robotics Artem Radkevich.



Event "Golden Pen of Belaya Rus"

In the Sovetsky District of Minsk, winners of the district stage of the "Golden Pen of Belaya Rus" contest for creative youth in 2024 were awarded. This event was dedicated to the Year of Quality and the 80th anniversary of Belarus's liberation from Nazi invaders.

The award ceremony took place on May 21, 2024, at the Lidbir Courtyard in a formal setting, attended by distinguished guests and contest jury members:

  • Aleksandra Yurevna Igovina, First Deputy Head of the Sovetsky District Administration of Minsk
  • Natalya Vyacheslavovna Klimovich, Deputy Chairperson of the Minsk City Organization of "Belaya Rus"
  • Lyudmila Rostislavovna Lyakhnovich, Deputy Head of the Education Department of the Sovetsky District Administration of Minsk
  • Vadim Gennadyevich Kudin, Chairperson of the Sovetsky District Organization of Minsk "Belaya Rus" (Chairperson of the contest jury)
  • Andrey Konstantinovich Tyavlovsky, Artistic Director of the BNTU Literary Association "Polistikh", member of the Union of Writers of Belarus, PhD in Engineering, Associate Professor at BNTU (Deputy Chairperson of the jury)
  • Zhanna Ivanovna Pakholchik, Deputy Chairperson of the Sovetsky District Organization of Minsk "Belaya Rus" (jury member)
  • Svetlana Alexeevna Alekseeva, Head of the Youth Education Department of BSUIR (jury member)
  • Elena Ivanovna Matveeva, Director of the "Centralized System of State Public Libraries of Minsk" (jury member).

Out of the 65 creative works submitted for the district stage, the jury awarded diplomas of corresponding degrees to the winners in various categories.

In the "Student" category, the first place was awarded to Anna Anatolyevna Yakubovich, a student of the Automotive and Tractor Faculty at BNTU. The second place was shared by Karina Vadimovna Barkovskaya, a student of the Engineering and Pedagogical Faculty at BNTU, and Darya Nikolaevna Kicheva, a student of the Faculty of Energy Construction at BNTU. Olga Alexandrovna Shavlovskaya, a student of the Faculty of Energy Construction at BNTU, received a third-degree diploma.

Additionally, seven authors, who narrowly missed out on the top three places, were awarded diplomas "For a High Level of Creative Work." Among them was Anastasia Olegovna Gorodnikova, a student of the Faculty of Management Technologies and Humanitarianization at BNTU.

The Sovetsky District Organization of Minsk "Belaya Rus" congratulates the winners and extends heartfelt thanks to all participants for their creative engagement with the significant and important theme for the Year of Quality and the 80th anniversary of Belarus's liberation from Nazi invaders: "Being Belarusian!"

Excursion to the Historical and Cultural Complex "Stalin Line"

Representatives of the primary organization "Belaya Rus" of the Belarusian National Technical University, led by their chairperson, Vice-Rector for Educational Work Timur Matyushinets, visited the historical and cultural complex "Stalin Line" on an excursion.

During the excursion, participants explored the complex's exhibitions, took part in a military-theatrical performance depicting the defense of a border outpost in the early stages of the Great Patriotic War, and conducted a round table discussion titled "They Fought for the Motherland," during which they presented commemorative souvenirs to veteran soldiers. Additionally, they joined a memorial service in the Alexander Nevsky Chapel, praying for all those who perished during the war.
