BNTU actively works on aesthetic education of students. The main events are aimed at developing creative activity, supporting talents among young people and fostering civic responsibility.
Students constantly visit cultural sites, museums, exhibitions of creative works, which contributes to the formation of artistic taste and broaden the horizons of students. Literary evenings, poetry and photography contests are aimed at revealing the creative abilities of students and their inclusion in the active cultural life of the university.
Among the significant events, it is worth noting the organization and holding by the Department of Cultural Affairs of the annual Interuniversity Student Film Competition "VIDEORADIUSBNTU", which became a platform for demonstrating original ideas and the spiritual content of the works of students of higher education institutions.
In addition, BNTU students actively participate in the annual university-wide photo exhibition contest "The Moment of My Life", held by the Center for Ideological Work and Youth Affairs. Photographs made in individual author's styles and various genres can be seen at the exhibition "The Moment of my Life" in the lobby of the 3rd and 4th floors of the main building of the BNTU. This exhibition is a real decoration of the university.
Special attention is paid to the popularization of the historical and cultural heritage of Belarus, the development of interest in folk art and traditions. Conducting events in this area allows students to become more familiar with the richness of national culture and realize their role in the preservation and development of traditional values.
In 2025, the BNTU opened an exhibition dedicated to the genocide of the Belarusian people during the Great Patriotic War and the post-war period.
