The annual review competition for the best organization of ideological and educational work among BNTU faculties (hereinafter referred to as the review competition) is held in order to increase the effectiveness of the organization of ideological and educational work (hereinafter referred to as the IIA) at BNTU faculties, to form an active life position among employees and students, legal and political culture, education of patriotism and national pride in belonging to one's own state, the history and culture of the Belarusian people, studying and generalizing positive work experience in organizing IVR at faculties.
The procedure and conditions for conducting the review competition, as well as summing up the results and awarding the winners are determined by the regulations on the review competition. To participate in the review competition, the faculty must provide materials in accordance with the criteria for evaluating the organization of the IIA.
To evaluate the organization of the IIA with students and staff at the faculties over the past academic year, a commission is being formed to summarize the results of the review competition. The results of the review competition are taken into account when summarizing the results of the annual review competition of university departments.

Employees of the Department of Ideological work and Crime Prevention of the Central Research Institute annually organize and hold a solemn ceremony awarding participants and winners of the annual review competitions for the past academic year: for the best organization of ideological and educational work among BNTU faculties, the work of BNTU faculties on crime prevention, "The best supervisor of BNTU."
