The lecture on Introduction to global road safety was given by Emma McLennan.

Dmitry Sambuk and Tolga Imamoglu spoke about a systematic approach to road safety.

Emma McLennan also spoke about modern methods of analyzing the causes of accidents. Tolga Imamoglu's lecture was devoted to innovative measures for the design and maintenance of safe roads and speed management. He also spoke about the design of safe intersections, the methodology for installing road signs and "correct, smart" street lighting.

The training program included practical exercises, during which the participants were asked to evaluate individual intersections of Minsk from the point of view of the road safety inspectorate. Our students – Alexey Zemba, gr. 101171-18 and Violetta Anisko, gr. 101151-18-successfully completed the task and received approval from the experts.

Separately, the issues of introduction to the road audit and road safety inspection, road design – accessibility and vulnerable users, as well as policies, ensuring safety during road works and involving stakeholders in road safety were considered.

Of particular interest was a lecture on effective engineering programs to eliminate "black spots" of road safety (the heart of accidents).

At the end of the seminar, discussions were held with students and teachers of the ATF.

According to the results of the courses, participants were awarded international certificates.
