1983 – defense of a candidate’s dissertation on the topic “Participation of public organizations in law-making activities” at Moscow State University. M. V. Lomonosov.
1983–1999 – Associate Professor of the Department of Theory and History of State and Law of the Belarusian State University (Minsk, Belarus).
1994-2019 – Professor of Law higher educational institutions of the Republic of Belarus.

Completed a number of internships. Has extensive experience in scientific, pedagogical, organizational and managerial activities, including over the past three years:
