He is a member of the Presidium of the Belarusian Geographical Society (1981) and heads the Gomel regional department of the NGO "BGO", is a member of the National Committee for Quaternary Research in Belarus (2018). Member of the Belarusian group of the International Association of Geological Engineers. Member of the editorial board of the journal Geography.
