Graduated from the Belarusian Polytechnic Institute in 1979 with a degree in Electrical Systems and Networks. From 1979 to 1981 he studied at the graduate school of the Central Research Institute of Mechanization and Electrification of Agriculture, and from 1981 to 2000 he worked at this institute. In 1991, he defended his PhD thesis on topics related to the automation of technological processes in agricultural production. Since 2002 he has been working at the Belarusian National Technical University. Currently, he is an associate professor at the UNESCO Department of Energy and Renewable Energy, and deputy dean of the FTUG for scientific work.
Currently, he is a co-executor of the task of the state scientific research program “Substantiation of the technical and economic efficiency of the use of lead batteries with structurally modified electrodes for storage units” within the framework of the State Public Research Institute “Energy systems, processes and technologies”, subprogram “1.1. energy security and reliability of energy systems”, task 1.20.
Supervises diploma projects, master's students' works, and student scientific activities.
